Universities
Manitoba's universities and colleges offer the education and training you need to participate in today's competitive global job market and to succeed in your professional and personal life. If you graduate with a degree from a Manitoba university or a one-year certificate or two-year diploma from a Manitoba college you become eligible to work in Canada for one year after graduation in a field related to your course of study. In addition, the Manitoba International Student Off-Campus Work permit Project allows qualified international students to work up to 20 hours per week while they study after successful completion of two terms of study at participating public institutions.

Located in Brandon, Manitoba's second-largest city, Brandon University (BU) provides a comprehensive undergraduate education. Programs in arts, business administration, computer science, education, nursing and sciences are top quality and the music program is outstanding. in addition, BU offers 25 pre-professional programs and a new bachelor's degree in applied disaster and emergency studies. Canadian Mennonite University

Université de Saint-Boniface
Established in 1818, the Université de Saint-Boniface (USB) is the only French-language university in the province of Manitoba. Located in the heart of Winnipeg's green and quiet francophone neighbourhood, the campus is a stone's throw away from many services, including cafés, restaurants and a hospital, and is brimming with activities for its student population. USB offers a wide array of undergraduate and graduate university degree programs as well as technical and professional programs that can be completed in one or two years and are geared toward employability and meeting job market needs. Our affiliation with the University of Manitoba gives our students access to courses at both establishments. University College of the North
University College of the North appeared in the Province of Manitoba in July 2004. Previously called Keewatin Community College, the institution is located in northern Manitoba. There are two campus locations: The Pas and Thompson. As well, UCN operated 12 regional centres from Swan River to the south and Churchill in the North. Nine of these centres are located in First Nations communities. UCN offers certificate, diploma and degree programs within five faculties. Open our door and we’ll help you open a thousand more.

With its campus located in the heart of Winnipeg, the University of Winnipeg (U of W) is a medium-sized university with more than 400 courses. In 2002-2003, U of W was ranked as the top undergraduate university in western Canada and among the top four in all of Canada. It offers degrees in arts, sciences, education and pre-professional programs. With U of W's focus on undergraduate studies you may be able to work as a teaching assistant in your third or fourth year. University of Manitoba
Established in 1877, the University of Manitoba (U of M) is western Canada's first university and the Province's most comprehensive educational institution. We offer over 100 degree, diploma, and certificate programs with over 75 at the undergraduate level. Our programs include arts, sciences, and professional studies including engineering, business, nursing, and post-graduate studies. The International College of Manitoba (ICM) provides pathways to undergraduate degree programs at the University of Manitoba. These pathway programs in Engineering, Business, Arts and Science, are all equivalent to the first year of a University of Manitoba degree. ICM's programs and approach to teaching offer students the opportunity to be fully prepared for university studies and have a smooth transition to the University of Manitoba.

Assiniboine Community College
Assiniboine Community College is an accredited college with the Government of Manitoba Council on Post-Secondary Education. ACC is committed to being a college that is the first choice of students, that students enjoy attending, that students are proud to graduate from and whose graduates are sought after by employers.
The college has been in the business of providing quality education and training to residents of western Manitoba for almost 50 years. For staff and students alike, ACC offers a learning environment that is leading-edge and vital. Our students can obtain a solid, well-rounded and affordable education. Most programs are one to two years in length.
A high percentage of our graduates (more than 84 per cent) find employment related to their fields of study within six weeks of graduating. A number of our graduates become entrepreneurs as well, creating jobs for themselves and others.

Red River College
Red River College (RRC) is the largest college in Manitoba sponsored and accredited by the Government of Manitoba. RRC offers nationally and internationally recognized preparatory, certificate, diploma, joint university degree and advanced diploma programs. The College serves and annual student population of over 32,000 full and part-time enrolments with over 1,100 permanent support and instructional staff. Language Schools
Heartland International English School
Heartland is Winnipeg's premiere private ESL school and is located downtown in The Exchange - a Canadian National Historic Site. The school opened in 1999 and is accredited by Languages Canada. Students can begin classes any Monday and study for any duration from one week to one year. Various programs are offered including: Intensive English, Study and Work, and IELTS Preparation. Elementary and Secondary Schools
Manitoba schools teach students from 5 to 18 years of age. high school prepare students aged 14 to 18 for post-secondary education and training or employment after graduation. Public schools are funded and offer courses developed by the Manitoba Government. Independent or private schools receive public and private funds. They teach courses approved by the government. Both systems are well funded and provide high quality education. In high school, you can choose from a wide range of academic programs offered in English, Francais or French immersion (combination of French and English). It is also possible to choose a technology training focus. High school programs are flexible enough to fit your ambitions and requirements. By combing compulsory and elective courses, you can create a balanced and challenging program.

Interlake School Division
Located within easy driving distance of Winnipeg, the Interlake School Division (ISD) emphasizes academic and extra-curricular excellence. The number of ISD students who pursue post-secondary education is double the provincial average. Warren Collegiate (one of ISD's three high schools) is home to one of Canada's best hockey academies. ISD is also a leader in the use of on-line learning.

Lord Selkirk School Division
Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School (LSRCSS) is the only high school in the school division and it is the home of the International Student Program, along with the staff. LSRCSS offers over 200 academic, vocational, performing arts, information technology, language and athletic courses. The school's modern facilities include state-of-the-art computer labs, a 300-seat theatre, an indoor swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness area and an outdoor track and field stadium. LSRCSS is located a few kilometres north of Winnipeg in the historic city of Selkirk, a popular location for provincial, national and international sporting events.

Louis Riel School Division
The Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) is located in the south-eastern part of Winnipeg and welcomes international students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 to its community. LRSD offers excellent and affordable educational experiences for students, with complete immersion in English or French speaking environments. In addition to full year and semester programs, LRSD also offers continuous entry short-term studies and an Accredited Summer Enrichment Program. Mountain View School Division
Mountain View School Division consists of seven communities located in the heart of Marnitoba's Parkland Region, which is known for its abundance of natural spaces and beautiful scenery between Riding Mountain National Park and Duck Mountain Provincial Park. We take great pride in offering high quality educational programming within a save, caring environment at each of our sixteen schools. Pembina Trails School Division
Pembina Trails School Division (PTSD) is the longest running (since 1995) and one of the largest international education programs for Kindergarten to Grade 12 students in Manitoba. It is also a leader in award-winning academic and extra-curricular programs. The PTSD is located in the university district of Winnipeg. Students from PTSD high schools rank among the highest in university and college attendance rates in Winnipeg. PTSD students traditionally earn the highest number of University of Manitoba scholarships each year, and they place in the top 2 percent of most national competitions.

Located in north-east Winnipeg, River East Transcona School Division (RETSD) offers many innovative academic and technical programs including bio-medical internships, climate control technology, graphic communications, marine biology, fashion technology, and aerospace. The schools of Study Manitoba School Divisions are public schools located in the Southwestern corner of Manitoba. The region is known to be quiet and safe and is in close proximity to Brandon, the second largest city in Manitoba.
There are 18 schools located in the Study Manitoba School division, offering grades Kindergarten (K) to Grade 12. Most of the schools are organized based on a K to Grade 8, Grade 9 to Grade 12 or K to Grade 12 format.

Western School Division has been hosting international students in our two schools, Morden Collegiate and Ecole Morden Middle School since 2001.
