Thinking of Building, Formalizing or Expanding Your International Education Program?

Many of the member institutions of MCIE have been managing formal international education programs since the mid-1990's. Although the main focus of most of these programs is the recruitment of international students, international education can include many other aspects including the internationalization of curriculum and programs, international faculty and student exchange programs, official development projects in foreign countries and international study and volunteer opportunities for existing and retired faculty and for existing students and alumni.

Learn from the Professionals

Membership in MCIE is an opportunity to learn and network with international education professionals at fellow member institutions. Membership provides you and your staff the opportunity to attend regular council meetings, to join standing and ad hoc committees struck to address key challenges and opportunities in international education and to attend professional development seminars sponsored by MCIE and other affiliated organizations. In addition, the very purpose of MCIE is to work together to build success for individual members and for the Province of Manitoba as a whole.  MCIE facilitates the sharing of resources and knowledge and helps to coordinate Manitoba-focused approaches to international education. If you are serious about your international education program then MCIE is the place to be!
