The University of Winnipeg’s English Language Program

The University of Winnipeg’s English Language Program (ELP) offers a wide variety of programs for all levels, interests, and needs. Located in the heart of Winnipeg’s downtown, we offer four week intensive, Canadian Work Experience (volunteer) and Teacher Certification programs, as well as foundations, general and academic pathway programs that lead to University study. With a thriving downtown campus that serves more than 10,000 international and domestic students, the University of Winnipeg is consistently recognized as one of Canada’s leading post-secondary institutions. ELP students have free access to the university gym and athletics facilities, university libraries, lounges, restaurants and cafes. The ELP is Languages Canada accredited and is an IELTS, official CanTest, and TOEIC test centre. Homestay and University residence options are available.
